Is this the first shutout in Collins' history. I know it's the first one I remember.

Yes this is the first time Collins has shutout their opponent. Collins also probably had the lowest amount passing yards in school history. They only passed for 29 yards while they rushed for 205.

The Collins football team started district play with a 21-0 shutout of host Spencer County on Friday night in Taylorsville.
The Titans got a titanic effort from Michael Brooks. The senior running back/linebacker rushed for 113 yards and one touchdown while recording 25 tackles and forcing two fumbles to lead Collins (3-2) to a victory in its Class 4A, District 3 opener.
“It’s a big win for us, it’s our first win in the district,” Collins Coach Jerry Lucas said.
The Titans took the opening kickoff and went 65 yards in six plays. They capped the drive when sophomore quarterback Lawson Page connected with his older brother, senior Andrew, for a 10-yard touchdown. Austin Nakatani’s point-after kick made it 7-0.
Those were the only points of the first half, though.
The Bears (1-5) spent much of the game controlling the clock by running the ball, but could never reach the end zone. The closest they got to the scoreboard was a missed field goal try in the first half.
The Titans tallied two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to put the game. The first, a 2-yard TD run by Jalen Spalding capped a 13-play, 54-yard drive with 8:17 to play. The second was a 17-yard touchdown run by Brooks with 1:18 remaining.
Collins rushed 35 times for 201 yards, while Page completed 3 of 8 passes for 29 yards and the one TD with one interception.
The Titans played without senior running back Darian Dugle and junior Logan Bailey and lost sophomore DeAndre Farris to a hard hit in the first half.
