This is somewhat overdue.
hh::eyeroll: The team had reached a plateau that he couldn't seem to get past, and after the whole Pike experience, I'm sure Coach Spritzky is glad to get out with his sanity. This would be a GREAT position for someone like Kevin Siple, and if Spritzky is still going to be AD, he'll be in on the decision.

^ Have Koz's kids graduated? Why not Kozerski?

Maybe they'll hire Pike Sr? Siple couldn't leave DA Bears after 1 season could he? Isn't Bracken Co now more successful than Dixie? At least they were this year. Dixie should hire a Dixie guy.

Kozerski still has a daughter at Holy Cross and from talking to him several times, he doesn't sound like he's going anywhere.
Here's a name I'll throw out there: Lee Teegarden, Ryle
also wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Rodenberg found his way back into NKY, but that happens if Moeller fires him for not winning the region, and as funny as that sounds, Moeller's done that before.

but he won't be able to coach his son... wait, that's even more reason to coach there.

I kid

not really a big surprise. Not a bad place to coach I guess, you'll get some athletes and can have success in the regular season but playoff runs could be an issue but I do recall Dixie beating Trinity back in 2004

Tom has had a great career and I'm happy that he will now be able to enjoy his family more .
I personnally don't think Kozerski is a great choice. I would think Dixie will be able to draw some new talent with more of an edge to the future of Kentucky football.

Lee is someone who will throw his name into the hat. The Raiders assistants last experience as a head coach was at Pendleton Co. I know he wanted to move into a 6A job and he really thought he was going to get the Campbell County job. I wish him luck.

THere is no way Lee will take that job, he is very content with his position at Ryle and will not even put his name in for that. I can see Campbell, seeing how he played there, but this is different. I say that Brossart will get the job but who knows. THey need to make a move though and get the kids rolling in the right direction.

I agree, this season was a disaster compared to the potential it had. They need to move away from this season as fast as they can

Not surprised by this at all. Dixie Heights had a lot of on- and off-the-field troubles this season.

i think a good number of people in NKY thought he was going to retire after this season before it started. I was alittle surprised he came back

I don't believe that Spritzky is the AD any longer. I think he gave up those duties a year or 2 ago. Dixie could be a really good job for someone young and enthusiastic. They need a fresh face and a fresh start at Dixie. Should be interesting to see just who might be interested in this position.
