Most of the time I played $200 dollar/ 6 man tourneys, but those times I played 10 dollar tourneys. You want to meet and play heads up for a couple of hundred or 500? I'm game.

Won the Junior Pro National Championship in basketball in 6th grade.
Started varsity special teams for the first part of my freshman year for CovCath when they had won state the year before and no other freshman had ever started varsity for them, but then, for the last two games and the playoffs, I started at nickel back on defense, which is the only thing we played in a few of the games.
Made the freshman all-region team in basketball.
Summer before sophomore year, I made it to the finals and was one of the top four in scoring on the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour (I completely hacked it because I hadn't played in a month due to football
nicker
.
Started varsity defensive back (corner but safety in some games), returned kicks, did a few other things, and, on September 18th, they decided to play me both ways at receiver and safety (safety because we'd be playing Highlands that week and we'd have to have at least 4 DBs every play).
Those are the main ones that I can think of right now, but not bad memories to know that I was a decent athlete before the wreck.

BTW, I wasnt really calling you out. Just making an assumption. Most of the time the only tournaments with that many entrants are free rolls. And the math isnt really correct.
With 5000 people and a 10 dollar buy in the prize pool is 50k. The major online poker sites which would only be 2 that would have that size tournament. Both of those sites payout structure calls for the winner of a 5000 entrant tournament to get about 16% of the prize pool. One is actually 15.5 and the other is 16%
So if you won a 5000 person tournament with a 10 dollar buy in you should of won about 8000 dollars. Thats a big difference from the 3000 you say you won in the tournament.
But this thread is positive, lets keep it that way. I will however, play anytime for most any stakes. If its to high, I have some backers that will cover my buy in. I also just saw you are from Paintsville and not Louisville so forget my first post about being in town this weekend. I am in the process of trying to get a new game set up in Prestonsburg, your welcome to come if we get it going.

And the math isnt really correct. It is what it is. The site was UltimateBet.. It's been a couple of years since I have done any online tournaments, but I can assure you what I said was right on the winnings. Ultimate kicked me off when the Kentucky thing came about. They could have been 5 buck tourneys, but I am almost sure they were 10. My last online playing was on Fulltilt, until it got shut down. I only played 200 dollar, 6 man tourneys on it, though. Let me know when you get something going in Prestonsburg. Sounds good.
