Junior right-hander Robbie Franzen belted the go-ahead hit and threw 4 1/3 scoreless innings to earn the win as Campbell County topped Brossart, 4-3 in 10 innings on Thursday.
With two outs in the final frame, Franzen lined a single over second base, driving in sophomore catcher Joe Kramer with the decisive run.
Franzen recorded the last out in the sixth inning after Mustangs senior third baseman Bobby Roderick had tied the score at three with a two-run single, and Franzen shut Brossart out the rest of the game.
