Jake Burke gets the Win. Jacob Hamilton the Save.

Pikeville improves to 22-6 on the year.

Pikeville will return to action Thursday at Davis Park against Pike Central.

Congrats to the Panthers. It seems to me they are the team to beat in the region. Always finding ways to win, good bad or ugly. Staple of a very good team.

This was a good game. It was 0 to 0 after 4 MC Tyler Blanton pitched very well with good velocity until he got in trouble in fifth, then he walked a run in, 2 runs scored on one passed ball, and 1 run scored on a ground out. Nathan pitched two scoreless innings for MC.

Pikeville starter pitched well, had good control all night. Pikeville did what they had to do to win a good game, got on base and made MC pay for couple mistakes.

Both teams pitching was impressive, and MC 7 th grader Jaren Lovely starting center field stayed hot at the plate going 3 for 4 also driving in MC only run in bottom of 7th.
