Both teams coming off blow out victories over teams that just arent as talented as these 2. Both teams took care of business and are both 1-0 coming into this game. Bowling Green hasnt lost since 2010 and are ranked #2in the state behind Trinity. Is there any chance Lafayette keeps this a competitive game on Friday?

Thank you, finally someone placed a thread on my other adopted team Lafayette. From the looks of things and as much I hate to say it, Purple people eater will put up about 50-60 points on Lafayette. Hopefully not, but BG are so athletic and have so much speed. They lost a few from last years state champ, but they return a bunch that contributed last season as well.

This game will be a big indicator for both teams. The young Purples had 136 yards in penalties against Allen County Scottsville. It was the first time 18 of the them started a game. They have 3 returning starters on offense and 1 on defense. They play St. X at Bowling Green next week. They are gonna have to grow up in a hurry. I believe Bowling Green will win this game, but don't have a clue as to what the score will be.

This game might not ever end if Bowling Green is penalty prone also. Lafayette had 16 penalties for 120+ yards last week themselves if Im not mistaken.

Flip a coin.

Bowling Green will probably win easily but it is because of their system and their depth more than anything. If Lafyette stopped 2 players Fant and Tisdale, they would win the game. Most teams make the mistake of putting some of thier least capable athletes on the field at CB, but to beat BG, their best athlete has to be put on Fant.

You were very close. BG won 42-20. Lafayette scored on the Purples subs in last minute of the game to make the score closer than the game really was. Two interceptions and several penalties kept it close in the 1st half. The Purples owned the 2nd half.

What a piss poor showing AGAIN by Lexington public schools. 2 year in a row that they went 0-fer in their own bowl games. In 4 year of I-High exsistance, Lexington schools has had a losing record. Dang boys, get it together.
