Oldham County @ Collins 8/31
#1
Collins will host Oldham County in their first home game of the season.

Any thoughts or predictions?
#2
Collins.
#3
Collins above average team and Oldham poor team; Collins gets back on the winning track in a easy one.
#4
Collins wins in their first true home game since 2010.

That is 4A Collins taking on 6A Oldham. Oldham might not be decent in 6A, but what happens when they drop down 2 classes.
Titans on the opener of their new field. 42-21

You're making too much of the classes. Not that big of a difference between them. Then you say Collins by 3td's ?? Confusing post.

Tell you one thing. Playing Boyle should have shown them what it takes. Super impressed with what they do as a football team. Nothing fancy, they just flat run it down Collins throat. On defense there was 11 guys flying to the ball. Anyone playing Boyle better have their chin strap buttoned and that is what I love to see from a football team.

Collins will learn from this game and needs to schedule more games like it. They will come back and stomp a mud hole in Oldham.

You hit the nail on the head!

Boyle County was definitely the better team, but Collins never let down. The Boyle County line was the difference, dominated our line, and Collins line mistakes besides being dominated. The 3 interceptions didn't help either...have to give Boyle credit for those. Boyle was coming off bad loss and was not going to get beat on their home field, first home game. Collins has 4-6 seniors vs Boyle's 18, next year Collins Jr. Class will only be better. Would love to have shot at Boyle again next year AND/OR at the end of this year. Good game Rebels! Collins is doing pretty good for 3rd year of existence.

Nothing, they still are a bad team.

Collins will be fired up after loss to Boyle Cty. Oldham Cty will be fired up after losing to N. Oldham. Still, I think Collins gets up early and then coasts for the win.

I agree. I think they will learn a lot from this game see what it takes to be a top level program. I hope that Collins will continue to play Boyle and teams like them in the future.

Collins wins this but I thinks it's closer than people think.

Collins did not quit and played very hard. I enjoyed listening to Collins coaching staff. I was impressed by them and think the team will only get better. Collins has a real nice passing game but need more runs to hold people honest imo. I think Collins will do very well against most teams except a power run team. Boyle's Sr. led team also was responsible for they win and I am afraid the results might be worse if they played again. Boyle get's it's starting safety back this week and our corners are getting more game experience every week. Good luck to collins this week and I hope they have a great season.

Collins is very lucky to not only have a great head coach but great coaching staff. I think that is one of the reasons they have had so much success and will continue to have success. Collins does have two nice running backs in DeAndre Farris and Masai Whyte but they couldn't get anywhere against Boyle County's defense.

Good luck to Boyle County as well, I'm sure they will have a great season!
