There is no "deadline," they just make it so the public thinks they're taking a stand. By July 27th, he'd have to have decided because they'd start the hardcore pre-season stuff shortly after that

Although I do like Brett Farve and hes one of my favorite QB's of all-time. I think this is getting pretty silly myself pushing the time back so many times, and I understand this is probably the biggest decision of his life rather to stay or go, but it is getting pretty old pushing the deadline back like that.
