It was just a little more lopsided than I thought. I picked it at 42-14 on thread I started about this game. Now here is something for you, we only played 2 teams all year with loosing records. We played 6 teams that are ranked in the top 10 of their classes. Pretty good, now lets hope it results in state title #9 for the cards.

Mayfield appears to be a well oiled machine right now.

We are playing well. This game did surprise me a little Caldwell is good and will probably make a good playoff run in 2a. This game saw almost 50 points go up in only 3 quarters against a district champ. The only other game i can think that was more impressive was against Graves County. Graves went on to run the table after the mayfield game including a very good win on the road to a solid Christian County team to go undefeated in their district in 5a. Graves is huge on the line i dont think i would be exaggerating to say that they out weighed us by 50 to 75lb on both sides of the ball. Chris Champion the line coach at Mayfield has done a great job in teaching these kids to excel against players much bigger than them.

Where is 64, I know he is trolling this site. Maybe he had another stroke when he saw this score.

Man the way you to have been going at it. I'm gonna feel for whoever doesn't advance. Assuming both teams even make it that far.

tomcat, its all in fun. Besides that you, I and about 90% of everyone in the state outside of Wburg know what way that game would go if it happened. The funny thing is after Wburg gets their next loss, 64 will adopt a new team to be a lifetime fan of. So, he will always be happy. My guess is, his next team will be Trinity, then he wont have to worry about anyone in Ky beating his team.

64, by the way, Caldwell Co is a 2a team ranked #5 in the state and now has a 7-3 record. Nothing like a tough 2a Tn team with a 5-5 record that is ranked way up there as high as 25. By the way, Caldwell Co has several more state championship titles than Wburg. That's who Caldwell Co is.

Mayfield keeps it rolling on.. Only challenges for Mayfield should be in the 3rd, 4th and state finals.. The Next two weeks are going to be blow outs for them and getting some PT for young kids who may have to step up..
