The official WWE website reports that Brad Armstrong, who most notably competed for the National Wrestling Alliance and World Championship Wrestling throughout the 1980s and 1990s, and briefly for WWE in 2006, was found dead in his home this morning. He was 51-years-old.
Their message states, âWWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Brad Armstrong, 51, one of four sons of âBulletâ Bob Armstrong. Brad Armstrong last participated in the ring for the ECW brand in 2006. WWE understands that Brad saw his physician last week for a medical issue and was found unresponsive this morning. Dang, I hate to hear this. I always liked Brad Armstrong. If I remember correctly he and his dad were NWA National Tagteam Champs back in the day. He also wrestled for his dad in Smokey Championship Wrestling. IMO he always lacked the mic skills his brother the Road Dog had, but I liked him.

When he first came into the NWA, they expected him to be as good as Flair and Steamboat. He never lived up to that in fan acceptance, which requires you to have character, but Brad took a backseat to No-One as a worker. He was an incredible talent that unfortunately had a southern drawl that fans could not get into.
