That conference is a joke. How do you have a coach that goes undefeated for 2 seasons in a row,plays in 2 regional championships and not get coach of the year?? In the EKC it can.

I am completley astonished at the amount of griping done on here. The EKC really means nothing anyway. Litkenshouse(sp) has Raceland as the number 2 team in the state as well. I think to be a top 5 team you have to win the games you should and some that you shouldnt. In the top 3? Win all the games you should most that you shouldnt. Top 2? In the words of Al Davis...JUST WIN BABY!...in other words, though I am a Ram fan, i disagree with that ranking. But rankings are just paper pipe dreams when it comes down to it. Its all decided on the gridiron anyway.

The EKC means nothing. I strongly disagree. For some of these kids that is the only publicity they are going to get.
These small schools and kids don't get mentioned on Lou. and Lex. stations yet I would bet they have some kids that are just as good at football.
Four weeks into the season after reading an artical in the local paper I had to contact them and explain the local team was the FLEMING CO PANTHERS not the FLEMING CO EAGLES.
These kids deserve all the publicty they can get it might mean an education for some of them.
