I would say yes! 2 years ago Knox had a player ejected in a game in Tennessee against Gatlinburg pitman and he had to set out the next two games in Kentucky. Doesn't matter what state you play in if your suspended you can't play.

The pond creek boys will go down to Tennessee and bring home the win. 28-21

The decision not to play the kid that was penalized in the Gatlinburg game, that from KHSAA or the coach's decision? I guess what I'm asking is, COULD he have legally played?

And PS, if it were a coach's decision, I would absolutely respect it!

It was the khsaa decision not the coaches. Coached was informed by them that he would have to sit out due to the ejection.

I have no clue who is going to play and who isn't at this point lol

Have a bad feeling about this one...

- Pretty good team, better than their record indicates
- 4 Hour Trip
- Team coming off bye week and with their backs against the wall in a "must win" game
- Potentially missing 3/4 of your top runners
- Your deep threat is banged up
- Potentially missing both DE's and a DT
- 4 of your top 5 DB's either out, banged up, or suspended against a team who loves to pass it a lot
- Haywood's propensity to play it conservative injury wise with back to back District Games next week

Have a feeling Pirates may take this one on the chin

Have decided to make the drive up to Knoxville from Atlanta for this one. Should be a good time win or lose.

No doubt, only about 3 hours 10 minutes from where I am in the far Northern Burbs

We drove almost that long a couple weeks ago when we played Greeneville, then the week before that almost that long again to Johnson Central. Ain't HS football great!!! Wink
You know, now that I think about it, it may be closer for Belfry to come smack dab through the middle of Harlan County and on Hwy 33 to Knoxville. I'm not sure how long it takes to come from Belfry to Harlan, but I can be in Knoxville in 1 1/2 hrs.
