Other than Southern, Pulaski has played a weak schedule. I think they will win but pulling for PCC! Would love to see it, but Ill be watching the Bears take down the Eagles.

Pulaski has played at least 4 teams that were/are ranked in the top 10 in their classes (Somerset, Madison Southern, Russell County, & North Laurel...not to mention the best 1-9 team in the state in Southwestern) and beat them all. Harlan has only played 2 ranked teams in Belfry and Johnson Central. They lost to both. I don't really see how your comment has any leverage at all.

I completely agree with but, I wouldn't waste my breath. It's been the same nonsense since the start of week 4. Pulaski supposedly hasn't played anybody and never will at this rate because we have beaten everyone who has said that which happens to be every team we have played!

You didn't just count a 1-9, non-playoff team as part of a tough schedule?
I believe Bell County and Knox Central were both ranked in the top 10 of their classes when HCHS beat them. You also forgot the best team on either schedule - Greeneville, Tenn.

Sarcasm, my man. Sarcasm. If you've read any of my other comments thru this season, you'd realize I'm tired of people labeling Southwestern as the best 1-win team in the state. Do your homework and chill out. Yeah Bell and Knox were probably both ranked until they were exposed as being mediocre. No, I didn't forget Greeneville, TN. You know Harlan lost that game by 45 points right? I thought I was doing them a favor by leaving that team off my list. I apologize.

Shouldn't the talk of SOS regard the opponents youve beat..

There's not much to brag about for scheduling someone just to get hammered?

The point is.. neither have beat anyone that's considered an elite opponent, or even better, an opponent that they wasnt favored in, right?

So, I think to date, IMO, the best W has to go to Pulaski, in the win against MS at their place. And if youre one to bring up Knox, well, id have to say Russell youd certainly include for Pulaski since Russell beat them easily

From top to bottom, yeah from an opponent standpoint Harlan has played tougher opponents, but the reality is, they have yet to beat anyone of significance, correct me if im wrong. Pulaski has at least beat a few opponents of higher quality than anyone Harlan had beat.


But most importantly, the game is just a hour away, looks a little wet outside… Hoping for an injury free game on both sides & hopefully Pulaski can keep on rolling!

In Pulaski's case, you wouldn't have an option as to whether or not to discuss the teams that have beaten them. In preseason, I would have predicted Harlan Co to have beaten Belfry and to have played Johnson Central closer than 3 scores (probably even beat them to be honest). Let's be real here. Pulaski is better than last year and Harlan is just not. However, come playoff time, anything can happen. I look forward to a Pulaski/Harlan match-up next week if that's what the good Lord chooses.

What you call "Losses," I call "Bad Losses." No offense, PCC is a decent team. The only shot they have of making through the night still alive and kicking in the playoffs is one thing. Rain. Mr. Zaga, maybe you can give me a 5th grade lesson here? What's the point of listing the first 4 when Perry Central was never in a position to win any of those once the game started?

Maybe it's my 5th grade mindset but, it makes no sense why Perry Central or anyone else is going to brag or mention that they played all these good teams when you got blown out by all of them.

I love the strength of schedule talk on here. In the end it means nothing in HS football. You win, you move on. You lose, you stay home and wonder why the other team did not respect your strength of schedule, but you still stay home.
