When was the last time did this happen? I am not dumping on my friends form the north here. I have not checked my records on this amazing steak if there is one. I was wondering what people opinion was on this topic positive or negative?

No NK teams winning a title is a clear sign that the rest of the state is closing the gap or have closed it.

2 of the 12 teams in Bowling Green were from Northern Kentucky. Northern Kentucky has approximately 10% of Kentucky's population and had 16 % of the teams at Bowling Green. They were well represented.

2003 was the last time a team from NKY has won a championship.

2 teams from West Ky won state championships. I'm not sure but I would say each area had at least 2 teams there. By the way 4 of the 6 games went to west reps. This in a year when my buddy 64 said the west was weak.

The 12 teams were really spread out this year...

Wburg- Southeast
Mayfield- West
Desales- Lville
NewCath- NKY
Wayne- South Central
Belfry- Far East
Collins- Lville/Frankfort
Highlands- NKY
Pulaski- South Central/South Eastern
Bowling Green- WKY
Meade County- Northwestern
Scott County- Central Northern

I would never guess that.

The last year they didnt win a state title was the last year that Dville and Boyle both won (2003). The following year NKY teams defeated these 2 while beginning another streak

Even the President was somewhat moved by this
