It would appear that the Mustangs are ready to assert themselves in Ky 6a this year. The stangs scrimmaged against the defending 5a state champs of Tn yest. The stangs played to within 1 td of Henry Co. It sounds like they are going to be a handful this year.

Was that Henry Co who they played? If so, you are correct. They're loaded every year and produce alot of D1 talent every year.

According to mayfieldcardinal they played Henry Co and then thrashed Milan.

I think maybe after the wake up call last year in the playoffs, this team will be better this year.

I'd say they have a shot to win there region, but they won't get out of the semis.

If I'm not mistaken they would play the Super district in playoffs,
district 1 vs district 4.
That would be St. X, Trinity, Male, and Dupont Manual

If they pair up with the super dist, they might win a playoff game if they are lucky, but no shot at winning that region.

I think they could compete with what came from there last year.

Last year mccracken was no where near good enough to win a title, yes the super district wasn't very strong, but mccracken last to central Hardin who got throttled both times they met Meade county. Mccracken was at least 35 points away from competing for a title, and that's in a down 6a year.
