I know several youth league sports uses college teams instead of pro teams.

So let's just say you are coaching your son/daughters youth team... Kentucky is not an option.

Here are the 12 teams you can choose from..... Who do you go with?

Of the 12 options.... I would have to go with Michigan State, for the simple fact of Tom Izzo.

Of those 12, Michigan State for sure and Duke would be the team on the list that I could never root for, no matter who they were playing. I remember cheering for Indiana when they played Duke in Rupp many years ago when Davis was coaching them. He was able to joke about apologizing for anything he might have done to upset UK fans while Coach K was just complaining all that time about having to be in Rupp Arena because of the fact UK fans couldn't stomach him or his team. Loved watching them lose and then seeing him act like a jerk after the game, yelling at the refs as they ran past him into their locker room. Duke losing in Rupp, even though it wasn't to Kentucky, still a magic moment. : )

Kentucky
Louisville
Morehead State
Eastern Kentucky
Western Kentucky
Murray State
UPike (Pikeville College at the time)
