Estill 70 Powell 85

the game was close at the start, then powell pulled away to a 18 point lead, then start of the 4th estill caught fire and cut it to 9 then the flame went out and powell went back up and never looked back. no real bad calls on eother side, they were about even both ways. powell was determined not to let this one slip away. great game to watch, both teams ran the floor and made some tough shots.

At the end of the game a football came sailing from the Estill county side and almost hit a chearleader. That was really mature. The more I see of Estill, in all sports, the less respect I have for them. Also #33 should never see the court. THE HEAD COACH shouldn't ever let him play. I first game he tries to fight with romans and last night he was put in again for romans, but Coach Lively was smart and took him out. So what does #33 do, throw a couple cheap shots at another Powell player. The coach should have let the kid know how bad that was, but he just patted him on his butt. Great bunch of coaches you got over there. Great game though. Would have like to see berryman get to play a little more, because he, christopher, and #12 were on fire. They all had great games. If they don't beat Lee, then it will be a great game in the district.

this was a great game to watch. powell started off rusty in the 1st qaurter. the 2nd and 3rd quarter was fun to watch. powell pushed the ball well up the floor getting some easy shots. estill pulled within 10 in the 4th quarter, great shooting by berryman, christopher, napier, and cacklin. powell fought hard for the win and it was well diserved great job pirates.

Yeah, the football was a little immature, but at least estill didnt get to experience the sight of #00 backside. Now that was immature. In my opinion ..#33 played very well defense. The way it looked from the stands the collision that affected #24..was accidental. I think both teams played very well. Congrats to powell for a win & congrats to estill for a very hard playing game.

#33 doesn't belong on the court. Why did he start the first game and only play about 1 minute the second game. The coach was just trying to get romans to fight and get thrown out, so they would have a chance to win the game. How is a forearm to the back accidental. Actually you should have been chearing, not watching. The football could have hurt someone. When #00 did that, it was better than him going into the stands and hurting the guy. He was talking about #00 mom and she is no longer with him. So I would lose my cool also.

This one goes to the "JustTrying" fan....Hello...its called the 14th region and 56th district..so we just need to shut up about estill co. acting "immature"...cause some nights every team acts "immature". Every TEAM acts IMMATURE

I Think It Was A Reference To The Fact That While They May Have Just Beat Us In Basketball We Beat Them In Football...Not Sure I Wasnt There But That Is Just How I Took It When I Was Told About It...IDK Tho

so they try and get back at us with a reference to a football game. hmm, sounds like they are a lil desperate for some pride and to build their ego back up, but thats just my opinion. and it was immature of them to slide across the field while we were still walking off, after the game. almost every estill county fan, player and who ever supports them have no class or are immature, its a little stupid to be throwing a football in a gym where it is likely to hit someone, better be glad it didnt, cause im sure if it would have something ugly would have taken place. we had some of our own immature fans in the crowd and would have loved nothing else to have done something about it. but thats just how i see it, love it or hate i dont really care.

Like I Said I Dont Really Know If Thats The Reference...But That Is The Way I Took It...I Wasnt There...So I Dont Know...And You Say Estill Players, Fan, Coaches, W/E Are The Only Immature Ones...The Way I See It...At Every Point Every Is Immature At Some Times So It Isnt Just Estill Fans...Powell, Estill, You Name It...Everyone Is Immature Sometimes...

Wow, nice argument guys. Care to find somewhere else to take it? The ball guys all get along, with the exception of one or two. Pirates dealt with winning, and Engineers dealt with losing, and they are over it, congratulating each other on how well this game was played. Now if the fans were able to do the same everything would be fine. Regardless, the game was great, and good job to both teams. Congrats to the Pirates, you deserve it.

Estill is immature. Football really doesn't matter to most in Powell and basketball does. And guess what they beat estill. The whole throwing the football was immature. But my guess is powell will beat estill in district playoff and in football next season. So go pirates and better luck next time neers.

I'd say the HEAD COACH has addressed any on court problems and then some. And we do have a great bunch of coaches that care about Kids and making them Men not only about plastic trophies.
#33 is a great Kid and a tremendous competitor. Some KIDS get caught up in the competition. I've seen #00 get caught up so much with the competition so much he lost his shorts!
