The Warriors are coming off a very successful season, but graduating 18 seniors is definitely going have an effect. The upcoming seniors have a good nucleus of players accompanyed by an awesome class of to be juniors. Notable players to watch will be Zac Lovins at LB and FB, Fred Hutchinson at DB and alternating at QB and receiver. Dan Locke anchoring the D line is ferocious. Adam White is a versitile back that can play anywhere and will. SWHS is not going to miss a stroke this year. Coach Anderson and his staff will not be rebuilding this year, merely reloading. After winning the District this year, the Warriors will be in another District with some very strong teams. I expect them to put up a strong run for the new District.

Next year you guys will be in the same District as:
Lincoln County
Pulaski County
South Laurel
and the Defending 2A champs Mercer County.
Just wanted to know how you think you'll compete against the new competition.

We have played well against both, winning 2 games this past season over Pulaski and defeated Lincoln the last few times we faced them. We did have a loss this past season to South Laurel while defeating them the previous season. Mercer County will be a challenge for us. Also, every year brings new challenges with the opposing teams getting better. I guarantee you that each and every Coach Anderson teams always give a hundred percent.
