Belfry is #1 until proven otherwise

Larue's opponents are 13-37

bigger question is, who gave Larue and Casey co. 2 first place votes? hahaha. I'm hoping that was a mistake. But otherwise, pretty solid. I was a firm believer from the start that Corbin should have never been #1 unless belfry just blew it a couple times. Gotta beat the best to be the best. 3,4, and 5 is the hardest to judge, I think anyone of them could be changed around. 6 down, no disrespect but I couldn't care less.

It wasnt a mistake with Casey and Larue. It was 100% intentional.
Some AP Voter who doesn't follow football just picked whoever was undefeated on the KHSAA scoreboard. Which is further proof why the AP Rankings are the worst outside the Lit Ratings

Hmmmm... interesting. The only down side of this is that its obviously one dimensional data. One or two horrible teams on the schedule and it makes the results look very skewed. Same way if you play a couple powerhouses though as well. But im also not a very big fan of RPI or SOS in college either, very limited data sets and a lot of emphasis placed on it anyways. Still very interesting though when you see it on paper. Belfry's shocked me the most, but I still know they're tough. I also thought Casey's would be a bit worse since everyone talks about their "cupcake" schedule

The only thing I can say about this is we’ll see who hosting the gold up in December you can throw these ratings away because they don’t mean crap I’ve been watching this high school football for 35 years and very rarely do they get them right

I agree with almost everything you said. But that one Corbin fan on here that claimed Corbin played bad at Casey last year, so they saw running clock in the playoffs, by halftime? When it was actually Casey who only gave up 6 to Corbin, at Casey, in the first half. Casey decided to try and score with a few seconds left in the half and threw a bomb, that went for a pick 6. 14-0. Then another late bomb in the 2nd half that pushed Corbin to 30 something. Game should have been either 14-6, at Casey, or worst case, 21-6. Then in playoff, Casey is down 4 to start the 4th quarter... So it wasn't as far apart as some might have thought. Even though Corbin definitely proved the better in the end. 3,4, and 5 are debatable, and I think it's Jtwon. But who is #2? Could be Central,, could be Boyle, or Corbin. I sure won't claim it's Casey. No big deal there either. I ain't suiting up for anyone.

I think Belfry is hands down the best team in 3A until proven otherwise. Corbin, Boyle and Central would be the only teams to even challenge Belfry I believe. E-Town, Caldwell, Larue and Casey are all fairly even and might could give 2-4 a good game for a half. Unless Catholic shows me something against Boyle, I don't see them being in the top 10. They've played a tough scheduled but have lost big as well. Don't know much about Fleming Co. Playoffs won't get interesting until the 3rd round in my opinion.

Belfry is simply the Alabama of 3A..... They will have to have a bad game to lose to anyone.
