Yes Sir, I do. IMO, Cov.Cath is the best team in our great state this year.

They were last year as well. Went 15-0 with a 5A state championship and nobody played them within 3 touchdowns.

I think Cov Cath deserves consideration. They've been about as consistent as can be all year. With that said, I feel Male has been a little more impressive. They've given up a total of 6 points in 5 games. I think they have a better win than any the Colonels have, in Trinity, but, the 47-0 shutout win over Ballard is what swayed me. Ballard has played several other of the states better teams and have either beaten or been extremely competitive with them, while Male blew them out. Cov Cath has a chance these next 2-3 weeks to make a statement and sway the ranking in there favor. It's very close already..

FDU passes the look test but I'm not convinced they are a threat to beat any of the upper echelon teams. They are a semi-state finalist at best IMO.

Scott Co is good but I'm not convinced they have anything for Trinity/Male.

CovCath is not the top team in KY IMO. They're the best in 5A but couldn't beat Male/Trinity and maybe not Scott Co/Boyle Co either.

Everyone they've played and by a bunch. I think this team may be special. We'll find out a lot more in a few weeks when they get Scott Co.. That'll tell us if they're for real or just a pretender.
