Wow! Great job bears. Iâm a little surprised giving all the injuries and seniors lost. Congratulations to DA BEARS! 🏈🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 whatâs that make 8 district champs??

Sad to see this district go.
While Harlan county has dominated in there post consolidation era, these past few years they've slid back to reality with the rest of the teams in this district.
Hopefully Whitley still schedules HC and Perry. I'd rather keep those games going then seeing Whitley play schools like east jessamine and leslie.
Congrats one final time to HC. Whitley was a point away but as usual came up short.
While Harlan county has dominated in there post consolidation era, these past few years they've slid back to reality with the rest of the teams in this district.

That was the worst called game I have ever seen that crew should never ref another high school game it was criminal tonight!!! I guess the hype vid didn't go over well with the bears tonight instead of getting online and talkiing HC done there talking on the field.

Harlan County was the better team tonight. They have Perry number. Two things that stuck out to me tonight was Harlan Controlled the line of scrimmage and Perry can not pass the football. Harlan has speed and Perry could not match it. Cogradulation to Harlan County District Champs.

This to me was a bigger shock than Boyleâs close game. I was rooting for the bears but thought itâd be a close game either way. Kudos to the kids for their determination and focus in the face of adversity. Harlan seems to be the kind of team at the end of the year that can be a nightmare for others in the playoffs. Creech also seems like a good coach from what Iâve seen and read. Takes what he has and makes things happen. I guess the game warden called off the open bear season???

The white hat and back judge both played and graduated from Pcc. The wing that started on your sideline is a Perry Co deputy sheriff that spends a lot of time in the school. How you came out of there 40-7 is beyond amazing.

Harlan County has been difficult to scout this year because we've never had the same guys playing more than one or two game together! 
I tried explaining this earlier in the year, but I was asked to not say anything that would give the appearance of excuses. That's something Eddie Creech just won't do! I was also confronted by an idiot who was really NOT an HC fan, about who was injured. HE didn't know of any but of course HE wasn't really a fan. Just a disgruntled coach with an agenda.
Truth is, out of the 3 games that we've won they were won by 3 different QBs. We haven't been whole since before the Hazard game. BUT there is no giving up with this bunch!!
And that's what makes this district win so special. Through injuries, adversities and negative folks wishing the worst for us, this team can now say they are districts champs.
I cannot tell you how proud I am of this team!!!!

But I am still mad they didnât play Pikeville on that October open date they both had. Seems this bears have it backwards they start playing good when they should be hibernating.

Congrats Bears!!! Coach has had to go thru a Team of QBâs this season due to injuries but this team has dug deep and made it work to win district.

The bears played well against perry if that team shows up in the playoffs then anything can happen. Hc has improved throughout the year a good run in the playoffs could be a springboard going into next year where we get almost everyone back on both sides of the ball and 2 of our better players back from injury.

I think JC and HC should be the 2 best teams in that district next year not taking anything from the other 3 but Jc is a powerhouse and Hc has almost everyone coming back.

Heard today from a old friend in London that a Perry coach is a little salty after the lose. Could use a Bear Huge!!! (sorry for the Hype O) lol

PCC missed their chance. They have never won a district title and with the reclassifying it wont help their chances with johnson central now and remaining with harlan and letcher.
