Per Aaron Snyder of the ADI paper.

Boyd County elected to not renew David Manning's Contract. He was the head coach for 2 seasons.



Manning will remain a special education teacher at the high school.

A 4A school with annual regional contenders in soccer, basketball, and baseball has athletes in the halls. Boyd needs someone who will get them out in pads. Manning is a good guy and I hope he gets a chance elsewhere if he so desires.

It's gonna take a coach 5 to 8 years to rebuild that dumpster fire. How does boyd expect anyone to take the job when you know you're fired in two years.
