How many folks happened to catch Miss USA's fall on the evening gown portion of tonight's competition? What were your thoughts on her & the outcome of this year's pageant?

How did Miss Italy do?

Nada. She didn't do anything but stand there and look pretty, I suppose.
Yes, I seen Miss USA trip, and I felt soooo sorry for her. They just keep stressing there are a billion people watching all over the world. That has to be the most embarrassed she will ever be. Plus, she had to get up and act like it didnt happen. Too bad. I think it was alright for her to go to the top five. There was nothing special about Miss Mexico other than she was competing in her country. The fans were incredibly rude to boo her. Venezuela was pretty, as well as Japan. Venezeula always has pretty girls competing.

I thought Miss Venezuela was pretty as well as Miss Brazil... I was not impressed with Miss Japan. It was incredibly rude for the Mexicans to "boo" anyone... much less Miss USA. (Those weren't the Mexican riff raff in attendance either....) I thought she handled it very well.... I wish she had given her answer in Espanol.... I think it's so funny to see expressions change whenever they realize the folks they're insulting Habla Espanol.

I didn't watch it but my sister yelled through the house that she had fell. My mom said that she wasn't as pretty as the other girls competing so that's another reason why she didn't win. My sister said that was impressed that she even made it as far as she did. Other than that, I have no idea because I didn't see a single second of it.

Miss Japan was my pick from when I first saw her. I thought she was so pretty. My boyfriend said she was the prettiest Japanese girl he had ever seen .

I saw her trip and I was shocked. If she had been from any other country, I would have laughed my head off! Sucks for her..... I think she's a beautiful girl and a great representative of our country, but Venezuela and Brazil were definitely the prettiest. I wasn't impressed with Mexico either.

Me too. I couldnt let myself laugh. I was just in shock. My jaw was dropped. I was like oohhh nooo. I have always been a huge fan of pageants. I have some taped from as early as 1994. I love them! I have NEVER seen anyone actually fall flat on their butt like that. I felt so sorry for her.

I would be so embarrassed! But I love the fact that she acted like it didn't even happen. It showed she knows how to keep her head up after getting down.

You have to admire her for the way she jumped back up and carried on like nothing had happened. Did anybody see the episode of Laverne & Shirley where Laverne rolled down the ramp at a debutante's ball? The Duke chose her for "the Duke's Dance" because he said only a woman with class would come back out after being embarrassed like that. Guess it could happen to anybody.
