What's the best way to hook up an iPod to a car?
I don't have one of the AUX jacks to plug it in directly, and I know about the FM transmitters, but I'm afraid that it will sound bad or staticky.
What are some of your suggestions, or does anyone know of a good, quality FM transmitter?

The FM transmitters aren't bad at all. My best friend has one and he uses it everywhere he goes. Pick a station, set the plug on the iPod to the same station and boom, there's your music. It doesn't have the static or anything that the radio station itself has, not in my opinion anyway. Wal-Mart has them. Not sure where he got his but I need to look for one myself. 50 bucks for the transmitter and charger I do believe.

We used a cassette adapter for our iPod shuffle. Simple and cheap and sounds good as long as it's not blaring.

I've tried the cassette hookup, but the cassette player keeps switching sides and then eventually spits it out
Also, with the FM transmitters, I don't know if it's because there are just more radio stations around here or what, but I have trouble finding a station.

I think that he used 107.5 while here, not sure what he used down in Richmond. Never heard any problems out of it and we played it loud and constantly during our trips to Pikeville and everywhere else.

Yeah I have a cassette transmitter and it works just fine for me, it never turns over or nothing. But a friend of mine has an FM transmitter that he never uses anymore and he said it still works just fine.

Actually, Lowes sells both hookups.

i have a charger/fm transmitter combo.. the fm transmitter works good as long as there is a station that doenst' have anything on it. on mine you can use any station.. however the volume isn't really that loud, you have to turn your stereo up if you have the windows down.. but it is really clear..
I'm in love with Tawnya.. hehe..
