Congratulations to the Redhounds on their win. I started wondering if Longmire had been injured but Yeager is also a dang beast!!! Very very impressive.
I was also very impressed with the Colonels. Sure looks as if they will turn things around and have a great season. I sure hope they do. Corbin could never put them away in this game; they were always bouncing back. Great job Whitley County!!!
My updates are twice as good...

As i said 3 months ago, whitley finally has a coach.
If he can convince kids to stay and buy into his system, he will own this county.

Williamsburg and Whitley needs to play.
Why does Williamsburg continue to play Jellico?
Have they ever played each other?

Running Back Wrote:Impressed with Whitley co. last night. Outplayed Corbin first half hands down and come a long way since a year ago but lacking some depth. Coaches well prepared and put a stop to Longmire as he wasnât a factor with Whitleyâs defense. Yeager is a beast and carried the Hounds. Quarterback play for Whitley gives a bright future as well as impressive line. I believe Irwin and staff opened some eyes last night to future tallies in the win column. Hounds too much in the end.
They lack depth now, but the way they are playing and being coached now will add depth in the future, because lots of kids will finally want to be part of this program.

Corbin fan here. Iâm a little concerned with our d1 guy. Ran sideways the whole game. Seemed to be trying to outrun everyone and when he couldnât went out of bounds.

He's just a sophomore and has been use to being able outrun most everyone, so be patient, as his body matures, he will adapt. Coaches need to find ways to get him the ball in space, which I'm confident they already know.

Mills is looking tough to deal with.
