The Eagles went toe to toe with Drake for 3.5 quarters. Score was 22-17 when Drake pulled away scoring 2 TDS in the last 7 minutes. It's hard to win a football game when a team turns the ball over 5 times.
The good news is they're still tied for second in the conference since the three other 2nd place teams lost as well. Drake and San Diego play Saturday to gain sole possession of 1st place. A lot of football left to be played. MSU will look to maintain second place with a win over Dayton this weekend.
