2A District 1 might be up for grabs this year. This game sets an early mark for one team. Caldwell has struggled in the past at War Memorial even with some of their better teams. With each passing week, Mayfield looks to try to establish some consistency as they get their feet underneath a young and inexperienced team. Looks to be one of the better matchups this week.

Mayfield is clearly struggling.  Union County isn't very good.  Caldwell isn't as deep as they usually are but they have some very good players and quite a bit of experience.  Caldwell may pull this one out.

The Mayfield faithful know when to holler we can't be beat, this year they are laying low setting the trap for anyone not looking. Young quarterback who will develop but could be down the line or next year who knows. Is the number one defensive player still hurt t from the McCracken game, that also makes a difference.

Looks like most of Caldwell Mayfield games, Caldwell looks lost and confused and big holes and wide open receivers for Mayfield, Caldwell is a decent team but you wouldn't know it when these two teams play, most of the time.
