Ashland will travel to Versailles. The Tomcats are coming off of there 40-33 victory over Boyd County and the Yellow Jackets are coming off of there 17-14 loss to Franklin County. I'll go with Woodford, but Thomas will have to have a real big game to keep it close. Good Luck to both.

Woodford in a blow out! Woodford is mad about the franklin Co. game the coach will defintly have them ready for ashland. They'll be no underestiamiting, it'll be one p'd off woodford team out to hit any thing where white on that field.

I think this one will be closer than most think. Woodford Co. is a great team, no doubt, but they arent going to blow out Ashland. I expect this to be a very close game but the Yellowjackets should pull out a close one. The key is keeping the Woodford offense off the field by time consuming drives and keeping Lewis and Strange in check on offense. If you do that, you have a chance at beating Woodford. If Ashland cant put long drives together and has its defense on the field the majority of the night, then it could get ugly.

I agree, I think this game will a close one, Ashland has been improving each week and they played well against Russell and took Montgomery Co. to OT.

I think Ashland may go in and upset them. They were 0-5 at one point, just got their first win and maybe a new wind of confidence to go along with it.

No disrespect but I look for Ashland to get blown away. The way they man handled Johnson Central it could get ugly.Ashalnd is well coached and if any team in the area that is capable of beating a better team than themselves its Ashland.Tomcats need some turnovers and to play there best game to date to have a shot.

WC did infact dominate JC, but WC only beat Montgomery Co. by 7.

This game has the potential to get ugly if Ashland lets it Woodford has a very solid team, but if the tomcats play tough and keep their heads on straight I could see it being much closer than many think.

The tombcats offence is so unpredictable. It gona be hard for woodford to practice this week cuz there scout team has to giv the starting a d a look at wing T to shout gun to what ever else the tombcats has use thus far. it seems there still looking for there identaty at offence and each new offence they show they have yet to show that there good at running the offence. They may be decent at it cuz of there athlet number 2 who is a good athlete. but woodford has to many athletes for ashland to stop. Woodford as some younger players that close to or almost as good as the older players. WC just has too much speed and depth for ashland to stay in the game. Plus they hav to play at versailles (woodford co.) I c no hope for ashland in this one Woodford wants Home field for playoffs bad there not trying to go bk to jc or montgomery any time this year!

I think that Ashland needs to take a good look at that film of Woodford playing against Johnson Central, because if they can blow Johnson Central out like they did, that's enough to say that we need to show up to play hard and show up with our A game. This is a very good Woodford County team from what I've read about them, I hear they have an outstanding passing game and a lot of great athletes that can catch the ball. I think these guys at Ashland know what to expect at Woodford County, and I'm hoping that we'll look to build off of that win at Boyd last week. I still feel that we are yet to play up to our full potential, however, playing a great team like Woodford county might bring that out. If we come up there and play undisciplined and not showing emotion, this one will get ugly fast. However, if we come up there focused and ready to play our best game of the year, I believe that it will be closer than a lot of people think.
