How about when you're robbed for 15,000 plus, the person who did it is arrested, told to pay over 250 a month for 5 years, and they don't pay, and the cops are doing nothing about it. The ruling was if she didn't pay us she would be sent to jail, and nothing has yet happened, her first payment was supposed to be October 19th.

The probelm today is that nobody is held accountable for their actions. If they had gottn caught stealing your property then they would have said, "It's the drugs, I stole it to get money for drugs man....whine, whine, whine!" It was their choice to do the drug the first time. They chose to do it and now they're stealing to do more. Why not just be held accountable for their actions? That's why people keep stealing, we don't penalize them for stealing we help them get off drugs. ****************, if you get caught stealing just tell 'em your on drugs.......you'll get a cookie and go on home!

I agree. I have heard good citizens defend thiefs with statements like, "Well, he really is a good kid and would never do anything like this if they weren't on drugs." Well, who forced them to take drugs in the first place. It was their choice!
Then they get in court and the justice system takes the same view, until they break into so many houses and businesses that they finally are forced to take some kind of action.
Most victims never get their money and things back anyway, even when there is a conviction. It's just sad.

Yesterday while i was at work someone stole my tail light covers off of my Explorer. What a load of crap. Dont people have anything else to do then steal stuff that people work for? They were only $50, but $50 is $50. i was just wondering your alls opinions on things like this.

They are like wedgies. Nobody likes them but their always there.
