Lions look much more aggressive this time around against the Tomcats.  Should make for a fun postseason matchup.

Holbrook and Hicks won the game for Boyd.

Combined they shoot 48% from the field and 34% from 3 on the year.
In the first meeting, they shot 24% from the field and 8% from 3.
In this one? 73% from the field and 67% from 3.

That and the fact that Ashland got their best 3 point shooter Conway, who shoots 48% and is the top 3-point shooter in the region, 2 shots on the night was enough to doom the Tomcats.

Ashland has lost 4 of their last 7 and has 3 games left that they will win. Boyd has won 6 in a row and has 8 games left. Two completely different scheduling strategies down the stretch. The final 2 matchups between these teams should be really good games. Hard to predict how they'll go at this point.

Watching the game. It was a total team effort. I haven’t seen three players score 20 + since villers porter sellars. BC defended better this time around. Shot better but they still are beatable. The atmosphere is exciting. The gym packed. Districts and Regionals should be fun. The Spurlock kid can make it from anywhere. Holbrook was everywhere. Hicks played well. Taylor and Ellis were extremely solid. Carter and Deboard are carrying the load. 2 can’t beat 5. Conway, T.Davis and Adkins have to play better. That was also a huge difference in this game. Nate had 12 in the first half last game. Non- factor in this one.
