Where will the LCC vs. Highlands game take place?

Hey "Hit-and-run". You were right about Lecher Central scoring 8 points against Clay. It was the 40 additional points the Cougars scored that you were wrong about. Stick to your day job. You have NO FUTURE IN SPORTS PREDICTIONS. But have a good day anyway. And remember that the Marines are looking for a few good men.LOL

Like I said if I was wrong, everyone could call me an idiot. Thought the Tigers would come out inspired and play better than they did, but I was wrong. Win some, you lose some. This game was won at the end of the 2nd quarter. With the high powered Clay offense you don't give it back to the other team with decent field position. Great win Letcher, good luck next week. Pull one off for the mountains.

No use in rubbing it in. I also thought Clay would win and I was wrong. LCC won and congrats to them and good luck to them next week.

Great game Cougars! They controlled this game from the start! Great play calling for sure and I commend the coaches for that! What was funny, on the play Smith #4 scored on the hitch and go..I called it. I noticed the play before that they were playing man on Smith and was playing a 7 yard cushion, and that there safety was playing a cover on the left WR. I told my wife that a hitch and go would work if that safety play a cover on that left slot and that the Right Cornerback would have to play that aggressive if he threw a fake hitch because of the cushion he was giving him and he bit and Smith was wide open. They will have to pressure Highlands ALOT more than what they did Clay last night, too much time IMO. Of course I do understand it is a 3 front on Defense. Just a great job Cougars all around and I will be right there with you all next week! GO COUGARS! Nice season Clay..just faced a better team!

Great game plan. Running game did the Tigers in. Banks played through the cramps. Clay tried to run which was a big time mistake. Cougars were just more physical.

Officials let the kids play in this one.

Good luck next week!

Saw the stats this morning Letcher Central had 340 rushing and 190 passing.Rushing avg.was 11.2 yards per rush, and passing was 18.8 yards per pass. Offense ran 21 fewer plays than Clay but had 124 more yards total offense. Awesome team play that showed that they were ready for this game.

Looks like LCC is a run oriented team. Should make for an interesting matchup with Highlands D, which has been pretty stout defending the run. Other than one drive on a short field (poor punt by Highlands), CovCath's running game went no where in spite of Buckley being back. To the extent LCC passes, the Birds pass defense has gotten much better as of late (was questionable earlier in the year, but the seasoning of Collinsworth (a sophomore) has really helped. Also looks as if LCC's defense shut down Clay's running game. That also should make for an interesting matchup as Highlands O is run, run, run oriented. They passed 3 times the entire game against CovCath (2 for 2 and the there was defensive pass interference on the third pass). Looking forward to welcoming the LCC team and fans to Ft. Thomas. I believe it will be the first match up between these two teams. Good luck to both teams.
