What do you guys think about this one? Traditional Mayfield travels to Frankfort to try and stop Mr. Everything E.J. Fields. I think the style offense Frankfort plays is a plus for Mayfield who has been excelllent against teams that prefer to run. Neither team appears to be 100% healthy, Frankfort Fields is nursing a ankle injury that caused him to miss several games and their sophmore sensation Weather suffered a hip pointer Friday Night. Mayfield's all world kick McNutt is questionable after getting hit on his kicking leg and the Cards QB is still not 100% after a seperated shoulder. I'll take the Cards, they just rarely get beat in the regionals

The Cardinals travel to the capitol city to take on a very athletic Frankfort team, should be a mix for some real exciting football. Good Luck to both.
Mayfield- 20

Mayfield has a nice team but, Frankfort just has too many playmakers... Good luck to both.

They are saying that this matchup is very similar to the Mayfield/Bardstown matchup back in 05 that Mayfield was able to pull out the victory in. Mayfield's coaches have been here before, so they have that going for em and a few of the boys on this team made the big trip to Metcalfe last year and pulled that one out. Without our starting kicker, we could be giving teams good field position on the kickoffs, I am just not sure how good our freshman replacement kicker actually is. I still say that Mayfield can pull out the victory if they bring the game they brought to Fulton City, Mayfield 21 Frankfort 17

McNutt is looking dooubtful, whata shame that the states best kicker will have to miss out in the playoffs.

I would be interested in learning more about them. Do they have a website or anywhere we can check out the roster and some stats?

As the playoffs go deeper you still see the traditional powers battling each other in the Regional finals. Frankfort and Mayfield will be a good game but with all the lagging injuries that Frankfort has been suffering, I'm going to have to go with Mayfield on this one 22-21. Should be a GREAT game no matter what!!

this game to me i can not predict a score, dont know much about the teams except that ej fields has signed with kentucky and hes a 3 star player on rivals.com. For mayfield i know they always have a good team, so i have to say mayfield gets the win because they have been there before and know what it takes to get a win in such a game as this.

I'm going with Frankfort in this one.

Mayfield has to make a long trip to Frankfort and contend with some very good athletes on the Frankfort team. But the game is won on the line of scrimmage and this is where I believe Mayfield will hold the advantage.
Mayfield 28
Frankfort 14
Mayfield 28
Frankfort 14

It's a great week for football everywhere you look and this game is no exception. I expect Mayfield to win the game close, but you never know when it's playoff time.

This could be one of the most exciting games this Friday night!

I'm gonna have to take the Cardinals by a touchdown

By all accounts this is an off year for Mayfield. I think Frankfort by a bunch. Their loss to Fulton City did it for me.
