Deep fried turkey
#1
TorQQue and I were just on the phone talking about this. He has never had one and I was telling him how good the one I had was. We are planning on making one after the first of the year.

Anyone else had them and what did they think of them?

The most important thing about deep frying a turkey is getting it done properly without burning it yet making sure it's done all the way through. The #1 thing to use is a thermometer, stick it in the deepest part of the breast and make sure it is 170 -180 degrees. Your oil temperature shoud stay between 325-350 degrees. Peanut Oil of course. Use 2 seperate thermometers.

The injection of your favorite marinade and deep frying is great for anything!!!

You can also inject different juices and flavors in the turkey before you fry it. That makes it even better.
