Highlands played against five teams still left in the semifinals! Only lost by three to cooper and in OT against Ryle. I think they have been under rated and feel should be 2 behind cooper. But if they beat cooper I guess they go into finals still rated under BG and SW. doesn’t matter though as long as you keep winning.

I took a look at the stats meaning I ran it through Cal Preps and sure enough, Highlands by the numbers is coming out as the 2 team just behind Cooper based on that system. So when we put a ranking out, its not a jab at anyone team. We do it for this very reason is to get responses and good communication and to see what the BGR members are thinking. I did watch the Highlands and Cooper game earlier in the season. Looked very close. I also saw Bowling Green in person the first game of the year against Frederick Douglass in Bowling Green. We went down to watch the Boyle and LCA matchup and stayed to watch the 2cd game. Highlands has a real good chance to win this Friday. I do think Bowling Green and South Warren will be a dandy game as well. I said it in another thread last week. Rankings is like throwing darts at the bullseye, you throw and throw and sometimes you get it just right. But you got to just keep throwing at it. So I for one appreciate the feedback and you are not wrong. After taking a deeper look. So when we do rankings, I send them out to the members that give me feedback on the class. So I'll take full responsibility on this one, I didn't get any feedback for this weeks ranking and I put the rankings out based on what we had done up to this point. But again, you make some good points and good luck to all the 5A teams this Friday.
