Great hire for KCC. She won a state title as a player and played for the Goat Randy Napier so she knows what it takes to get there and she has never been afraid of hard work . KCC will be on the young side this season but they do return Conley Bailey Mcalarnis and Feltner and have a bench full of young Talent from Carr Creek Hindman and Emmalena. The middle school teams are solid so the feeder system is there. Time will tell but good get KCC.

Was this hire surprising to anyone connected to KCC?

Good hire.. Would have been surprised had it been anyone else..

Great hire. Would’ve been foolish to go with anyone else. She’s been around the game a long time and knows the ins and outs. Good luck coach.

Have it on good authority a PCC big will either be at KCC next season or make the trek to the 13th to play for NL.

Don’t be surprised if you see one of the younger stars transfer soon.

Parents don't have the means to actually move. 2 schools in the 13th have already notified KHSAA, don't think she will come back to NL. PCC makes more sense from a distance standpoint.

Just making mention of a PCC big possibly ending up at KCC since apparently according to the post above, the move to NL isn't feasible for the family.(05-28-2025, 12:30 AM)possumking Wrote: Have it on good authority a PCC big will either be at KCC next season or make the trek to the 13th to play for NL.What does this have to do with Misty being the new head coach at KCC?

It’s kind of a head scratcher why Perry Central let her go. Probably cost the Lady Commodores a regional championship with the losses of her two daughters and gift wrapped a trip to Rupp for the Lady Patriots.

Lost more than likely a regional title because of it and then one of, if not the best young prospect coming out of middle school in the area. I could see Perry girls basketball taking a big time nose dive in the immediate future. The administration has no one to blame but themselves in my opinion.

Wasn’t the older one a pretty good softball player to? May of made a difference in their 4-2 loss to LCC this past week. I hear girls sports don’t matter much at Perry.

Perry is a football school. Where have you all been?

Would’ve definitely helped them this season. To bad the school system is crazy and cut their own throats there.
