Baseball is here! There haven't been a whole lot of posting on it yet because of basketball, but I would like to see everyone's thoughts.

This is not wanting the top ten. There are a few categories that I would like to see everyone's opinion on each catergory.

*Which team will finish the regular season with the best record?

*Which team will win the 15th region?

*Which team will win each of their districts?

*Who will win Coach Of The Year award?

*Who will win Assistant Coach Of The Year award?

*Who will win Player Of the Year award

*How many All-State selection will the 15th region? And Who?

Most Wins - Paintsville, District Winners-pikeville, Belphy,allen Central, The 57th Too Close To Call. I Think Jc's Field Not Being Ready Really Hurts Them. Pike Central Is My Sleeper Team-they Could Susprize Some Teams.

What about the other categories? I agree with you on most of the districts, and I will go ahead and say Paintsville as 57th and 15th region champs.

Best record will have to go to Paintsville..LC and JC's schedule is much harder and it will be more difficult for them to post as good a record as P-ville.

Because of the record I look for Coach Howard to retain his Coach of the Year award.

I think Coach Feltner( I think thats his name) from LC will get Assistant Coach of the Year.

Player of the Year-Timmy Hayes from LC

All-State selections-Hayes(LC), Grimm(P-ville), and possibly a couple more...Cyrus(LC), Vanhoose(P-ville), and maybe Humphrey(P-ville)...depending on if Little pitches or not he could possibly get it as well. You never know about these though, just depends on what type of year they have.
