If the Lady Owls can make there season last as good as they did tonight then they might be the upset this year. Starting with new co-head coaches in Chad and Shawnda Mason, the Lady Owls defeated KCC in a pre-season game tonight, 12-7. Congrats, and hope the season turns out this well...

Had KCC played only their varsity it probably would have been different. Everyone played for KCC and only 10 or 11 played for Owsley. KCC's girls are not used to playing the positions they play last night. Because of graduation and injury everyone has had to be re-positioned. KCC was without their starting catcher last night as well. I wish KCC and Owsley the best of luck this season.

Owsley played all 9 starters until the bottom for the last inning then put in about 2 kids. KCC changed their line-up after the 2nd inning.

Sounds like Coach Couch and Coaches Mason(s) had a little fun in mixing it up throughout the game.
