I'm looking for a new bank. Something with good student checking account offers and help. But I just wanted some opinions or references.

Which is the best one you've used?

Worst = US Bank
Best = National City (even though they are a little slower, they usually get things right)


I've also heard that Community Trust is good, but I've never had an account with them.

I have City National and have never had a problem. I don't know anyone with City National that has even mentioned to me that they had any problems, either.

Locally, I used Kentucky National (Now Citizens National) we have never had problems, but if you want a bank with MANY locations, you can't go wrong with Community Trust.... locally owned....

I have always used US Bank and I've never had a problem with them. I also get cash back every time I use my card as a credit purchase.

If your in Morehead, and your a college student the best I have found is The Citizens Bank.

The WORST is US Bank!

I use BB&T because it is the only bank that is in Pikeville and Richmond, VA and they are great. But if you are going to be in KY from Lexington east then I would recommend Community Trust. Many locations across the region and always expanding.

BB&T is also located in Paintsville.

And I think theres another one in Elizabeth town or Hopkinsville. Can't remember.

Community Trust if you want coverage throughout all of Eastern Kentucky and Lexington.

For local banks Inez Deposit Bank can't be beat.
