Allen Central Avoids the mercy, which was somewhat of a victory. They played without 2 starters with a lot of young kids on the field. Could they have beaten L.C. with all their starters-no I don't think so. Someone said that the Paintsville radio station was really dogging A.C. which seems odd since both Johnson Co. schools were listening to the radio instead of playing on the radio. L.C. has shown that they are the best team in the region. I also think that Belphy is the next best in the tourney, so should be a great final. Good luck to both. I will be there watching.

They was far from as you say dogging AC. Matter of fact they were giving praise to them every three or four mins.

Congrats to LC on the win-that is a talented group of young men representing you. Good Luck in the championship and if you claim the title- then good luck to you as far as you can make it. Represent the 15th region well.

As anyone who follows 15th region baseball knows AC faced a lot of hurdles this year. Hopefully it will only make them stronger. AC started only one Senior defensivley during the regional tourney. Against Phelps they played with 7 Sophomore's and 1 Freshmen and against LC 6 Sophomore's and 2 Freshmen. Though AC didn't finish with a winning record this season- they did bring home the 58th District Tournament Title for the 4th consecutive year (they have won the district 7 of the last 8 years) and made their 9th consecutive appearance in the Regional Tourney. Keep working guys-and good luck next season.
