JC/Highlands Game?
#1
About what time should a person get there to get a decent seat?
About how many people will be attending this game?
#2
I would like to know what time the gates open? That is when you need to be there to get a good seat. I would venture a guess of 6:00 pm.
#3
I heard there was a player on the Highlands team whose dad played in the Super Bowl for the Cincinnati Bengals. Is this true?

get there as early as possible. when belfry played johnson central that place was packed. and that was a 3a vs 5a school. think of these two 5a schools and its playoff time. i'd get there as early as possible

Hopefully the place will be PACKED! I would like to invite not only Eagle fans, but all football fans who would like to see quality football with a great atmosphere to come out Friday and support these teams! GO EAGLES!!!

I heard some of the Paintsville boys will be here for this game and I hope they are. When JC and P-ville is not playing each other they need to support each other. Go get'em Eagles!!!

They actually do support eachother more than you know. They were there 2 years ago, they were at Rupp 2 years ago when JC went to state for basketball, JC went with them to state and supported them when their basketball team went to state last year. A rivarly isn't just about hate and competition, its also about respect for the other team. Many people from Paintsville and Central are friends. It's just when it comes down to sports, for that hour or two, they are mortal enemies Smile

Actually, Highlands is a 3A school. They asked to play at the 5A level. Imagine that...lol

There will be quite a few Paintsville people there. You have your sour grapes on both sides of the creek. Who just can't seem to grow up and support all the kids in our great county and city. I'll be there. But, you will prolly not see me, cause I will have my camo coveralls on...lol! Good Luck JC.

I agree, I hope that stands are packed. The attendance hasn't been what I expected. I know the stadium is larger but in 2006 when JC played in the playoffs the crowds were huge even 3 or 4 deep on the sidelines. Everyone needs to come and support these kids, the crowd can make a world of difference.:letsparty
