I stay in touch with quite a few of the guys I played with in high school and still talk to my former coaches on a fairly regular basis. In college, I have spoke with the coach a few times but stay in contact with those players that I was closest friends to.

Players, yes...These guys are my brothers. Even though it has been 20+ years, we still talk about games like they were played yesterday.

Coaches, not so much. Both my coaches have moved on to either other schools or other professions.

I am always with my former players. The bond of friendship you make on the football fields will always be strong. And my coaches, I talk to them all the time, even text 2 of them lol
