Thoughts and Predictions. I assume Pikeville will be the home team being a district champion.

LC will save Chandler for the championship. Will beat Pikeville by around 3 or 4 and make it an all 57th final like it should be :Thumbs:

If LC is smart they will throw Chandler againt Pikeville.

I don't think it will be smart for LC to hold Shephard. Especially considering how weakly they hit Huffman the last time they seen him. I look to see Shephard v. Huffman tonight in possibly the best game of the tournament. I think LC's experience they gained last year will play a role in this game and they will come out on top though.

Well I am not sure who they will start but if they start Cody Moore this game which they should then he is just as capable of shutting down Pikeville as is Chan. I think it is just how much our D plays behind Cody if he does start... If we can cut down on the error in the infield then we will be ok.

Simple keys to this game:
Lawrence County needs to get hits.
Lawrence County needs to be solid defensively.
Lawrence Count, if they pitch Chandler, needs to get out to a decent lead early to save him for the next game.
Pikeville cannot have any more than 2-3 walks.
Pikeville MUST capitalize on any men in scoring position, this includes playing small ball to plate as many runs as possible.
Pikeville cannot give Lawrence County extra outs.
Huffman needs to keep a low pitch count and be consistent enough to go the distance.
Lawrence County needs to get hits.
