Interviewing Coaches Live

Me and a few staff members thought it would be a great idea to interview head football coaches from around the state on the site.

What do you all think?

We are going to do it during the football season.

Have maybe 2 coaches per week.

during pre-season to or just regular season?

BCA, I love the idea. I would like for us to put together a good game plan for this. I think this is unique and different from what any other sites do statewide. We need to be able to put something solid to make it worthwhile for the HS coaches to give us time for a few bylines or quotes. Most coaches don't just "offer" fodder without seeing a benefit to them. Let's think about this and make sure we can make this happen.

Yet again BGR staff is taking a step in the right direction to make this site the BEST in the state. Great idea you guys if this works out really nicely we should get this going for every sport. Especially basketball during tourny time.

I agree 15thRegionSlammaBamma. I would like to see this done for basketball as well for starters.

I think this idea will turn out nicely. Should attract more visitors to the site and encourage more people to sign up for membership.

Yet again, we will not be interviewing coaches until the week leading up to the season and then we will be interviewing at least two coaches per week during the regular season. I will send coaches e-mails the week before I would like for them to be interviewed.

So please do not bother your schools head coach.

I personally think waiting until the season is a mistake. You want to get guys during their down time and get the momentum about this going way before coaches have to start worrying about gameplanning and giving up strategy. You start it ASAP work all the kinks out and that way a coach can see the incentive to do it. Just my 2 cents.

I see what your saying and I'll think about that. Right now I'm trying to get the HTML coding on.

The chatting system I'll be using is just like the one Matt Jones uses on www.KentuckySportsRadio.com.
