And GC won 5-1 LC only had 13 players and only 2 of them had ever played in youth soccer so all in all they did pretty good they had about 3 other chances to score but GC goaly did a good job. LC takes on Seldon Clark on Thursday at home. Good luck to GC the rest of the season.

I know LC starts the season off agiants Letcher Co Central on the 25th. I will ask if they would like another scrimmage before then . I really don't know the rules on how many they are allowed to have. I know the football team can only have 2 before reg season starts. I also know that even if lC was to win sevral games they aren't allowed to play post season this year. But I really don't think they have to worrie about that but I think these girls are doing Great for just starting out. They just need to get a few more girls out o play they only have 13 . They are sevral 8th graders that will be able to help out next year that play on a traveling team right now that will really help this program out next year. So if these 13 can hold it together for one year they will be ok

As of right now LC only has 7 games scheduled and I feel that they should be playing a JV schedule any ways because LC is going to look at this year as a learning curve. I really just hope that these girls can keep this together so next year they can play a full schedule these girls are doing great and they seem to really like it and are having a lot of fun. It would be great if they could win one this year but I know with only 13 players the odds will be agiants them . Soccer is a fun but its a rough sport. Good luck Lady Dawgs you all are making History by being a part of this team and you all will be remembered for it.
