I lile discovering new "not so mainstream" bands/songs. What bands/songs would you recommend?
I recently discovered a band named "Poets of Fall" and I am really enjoying their sound. Anyone ever heard of them? Almost every song I have sampled from them so far has been pretty good.
Give the videos below a listen if you haven't heard them.

Where are you Comforteagle? I enjoy your taste in music. I can never thank you enough for introducing me to Coheed and Cambria a couple years ago. They are one my favorite bands ever. You got any more suggestions?

I'm trying to think of some
Off the top of my head, I can say Kings of Leon, but they've become a lot more mainstream since I first saw them in 2004. Some people have heard of them, some haven't. As an aside, I have to say that they put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen.
Some of their better songs are:
"Notion"
"On Call"
"Use Somebody"
"Sex on Fire"
"Slow Night, So Long"
"Molly's Chambers" - was played during a race scene in Talladega Nights
"California Waiting"
"Revelry"
"Fans"
"Ragoo"
"True Love Way"
"The Bucket"
"Taper Jean Girl"
Let me peruse iTunes and give some songs to check out:
"Die Romantic" - Aiden
"Feel Good Drag" - Anberlin
"Readyfuels" - Anberlin
"Flourescent Adolescent" - Arctic Monkeys
"Modern Times" - The Black Keys
"Through the Fire and the Flames" - DragonForce
"Revolution Deathsquad" - DragonForce
"Ruby" - Kaiser Chiefs
"Reason is Treason" - Kasabian
"Stockholm Syndrome" - Muse
"Hysteria" - Muse
"Ignorance" - Paramore (watch the music video if you can, she's hot)
"Misery Business" - Paramore
"Crushcrushcrush" - Paramore
"N.I.B." - Primus w/ Ozzy
"Beer" - Reel Big Fish
"Snake Devil" - Scary Kids Scaring Kids
"What Drives the Weak" - Shadows Fall
"Make****sure" - Taking Back Sunday
"Check Yes Juliet" - We The Kings
"Teenage Dirtbag" - Wheatus
"Woman" - Wolfmother
"Pyramid" - Wolfmother
"Joker and the Thief" - Wolfmother
