The Detroit Pistons are currently in a three-way tie with the Philadelphia 76ers and Indiana Pacers for second-to-last place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 12-25. So it's looking like the Pistons will be moving some players before the trading deadline.

The Detroit News is hearing that one of those players is likely to be Tayshaun Prince(notes).

Richard Hamilton(notes), Ben Gordon(notes), and Charlie Villanueva(notes) could all go too, of course, but Prince has some decent backups to fill his place in rookies Austin Daye(notes) and Jonas Jerebko(notes).

The soon-to-be 30-year-old Prince is only averaging 8.9 points, 2.2 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game. Might as well turn those minutes over to the young guys.

He missed most of the first part of the season with a back injury. He has been back, but for only a few weeks.
