Tubby to Auburn?

I didn't see a thread on this. Sorry if there is one. If so delete this. I hear a report on CBS that Tubby Smith of Minnesota is very close to signing on as coach of Auburn.

It might be a good fit. I think he could still do well at Minnesota though.

I would enjoy seeing him back. He has had 17 straight 20-win seasons, and a winning percentage of 71% I think he would be great anywhere he went. Im certain that at the least he will put Auburn in the tournament.

IMO this won't happen because he would have to take a but kicking from UK every year. This would be tough for him to take in more ways than one,
