Hooker rocks. Very nice win Clay.

This proves what many on here often say about how great Middle School teams don't always correlate to great varsity teams. NL current Jr Sr class had a GREAT MS team.

Clay County layed the Smack Down on the Jaguars!! North Laurel must be really down this year by losing so bad and so many games now! Congrats to Clay County Tigers.

When was NL ever considered a powerhouse? They've just lost 3 games to 2 really good teams. Cut them some slack they have won 7 games in their last 14. That is more games than they had won in 3 years prior. Not to mention they lost their stud TB/CB senior for the year 2 weeks ago and had to start 5 guys this week at clay who had never seen a varsity down.

Clay Co is not a traditional power house either. Yes, they are having a good year and need to enjoy. Best i remember, Clay didn't win a district game last year.

I can remember when NL was the beat down for everyone and won a few games each year. The NL program has gotten a lot better than it used to be and I can never remember NL being a power, nor Clay co. I think North has won 2 games this year and 5 last year, that is pretty good for a school that never won in football
