Good job Bobcats!! I just worry about game condition, because the starters haven't played a whole game all year, and they was only one game the starters played after halftime. But I guarantee Holcomb and his coaching staff will have them in shape and ready advenge last year loss to Somerset. I already have goose bumps because the bobcats have been thinking about Somerset for a whole year and I'm sure everyone of the kids who played last year have this game circled on the schedule. Go Bobcats and keep up the good work, 4 down 11 to go.

Will Thomas Collins has to be in the top 5 in rushing in the state. I don't know his stats but I bet he averages 25 yards a carry. Does anyone have his stats?

As expected.

States leading Rusher is Pope from Nicholas County. Collins is good
according to KHSAA he's not listed

Next week should be a hell of a game, Somerset vs BC.

He had 4 carries for 134 yards in the first 5 minutes of last weeks game. His average per carry has to be among the state leaders but I doubt he has had enough carries to rack up the yards needed to lead the state.

I knew this one would be bad! Did Breathitt just call everyone off in the 2nd half so that it would not get rediculous or what? Going by the first half, it looks like the Bobcats could have scored 80+!!
Congrats Bobcats!

Left at halftime, it was a blowout from the start. Could have been a lot uglier if we had left our starters in. The next two games will be the best of the regular season.

The next two games will test whether Breathitt is a contender, or a pretender. I will be in for the Hazard game and hope the Bobcats are still undefeated.

No shocker here. Congrats BC. And good luck to you with somerset. Should be an excellent game!

If Breathitts defense is any count and they can put it in the end zone then they can beat Somerset.

Breathitt County did leave there starters in for almost the whole third quarter. Jackson County buckled down made them fumbled twice and ran the ball better in the second half until the starters came out for Breathitt. #8 is tough. One of the best defensive players I have seen in a while. # 7 is a heck of a running back and I wouldnt be surprised to see this team playing for the state title this year. Congrats and good luck on the rest of the season.

Congrats Bobcats. The bobcats could have scored 80+ but with Coach Holcomb being a classy guy, he kept the game a lot closer than it could have been. Next week the bobcats will get the respect they deserve when they walk out of the riverbank with a win over Somerset. Good luck bobcats.

I found Will Collins stats and he is not in the top 15 but he's very close. After last night he is averaging over 16 yds per carry. He has only around 40 carries and right at 600yds.
That is pretty impresive and very hard to do I don't care what team you are playing, I'm sure his yards per carry will go down some after next week but I'll bet he gets more than 150yds rushing. The Bobcats are as balance as I have ever seen them because Richard Trent ranks in the top 15 in passing and he is averaging around 85yds in rushing a game. That is when a team is hard to defend because defense can't just concentrate on a passing game nor rushing.
