The Spinning of "you Didn't Build That"

the other guy Wrote:Obama is a joke I do not care what color he is. And face it, I have not ever heard the word buck used for a black guy, if we wanted to be racist we would call him something else.
You haven't been around much, huh? That is one of the major words used to describe a black guy.

I can't imagine any racist not being able to find a better derogatory term to call Obama then Bucky. "Buck" implies a large, powerful animal. After watching rail thin Obama throw a baseball, who in their right mind would describe Obama as a buck? Weasel, rat, snake...there are so many more appropriate metaphorical animal-themed insults for our socialist in chief.

If the word "Buck" were universally recognized as a racial slur referring to black men, who else here believes that Milwaukee would have chosen a different nickname for its basketball team?

i dont know about you Hoot, but the name "Sissy" immediately came to my mind when I saw that. We could just call him "Sis" for short.

So, you've never heard the term "big, black, buck"? Or the slang term for Myrtle Beach's black bike week, called "buck week" as a derogatory statement?

No, I never heard those terms but I am not around many racists in my line of work. I have heard the term "strapping young buck" but did not realize that some people believe that it is "code" for young black man. After doing some reading, I found that liberals accused Reagan of racism for using that term in a speech. I don't think the term is as widely taken as a racial slur as you seem to think. If it was, then I am sure that the Milwaukee Bucks would not have survived this long without a name change.

Yeah, the phrase "he throws like a little girl" immediately came to my mind. But the thing is, a girl who throws like that would not even make the cut for an average girls' softball team. Obama would not have made our intramural softball team as a boy or as a girl.

Girls don't throw overhand in softball.

When the pitcher pitches, you are correct. lol

But, other than that literally 98.5% of throws are overhand.

Really? Think carefully about what you just said and I will give you a chance to correct yourself before I do it.

Too late, PT beat us both to the punch. I have never seen a female softball player throw the ball from shortstop or third base to first. Have you? Do you think that Obama could make that throw?

any name, idea, or whatever could be twisted into being racial if you are so inclined. When are we going to get past that and move onto the issues of the day? Stop the blame game and fix it

This is a perfect example of how much time and effort is needed to answer a false charge. Dems get a lot of mileage doing this very thing. The idea is to make your political adversary look bad. Was there any basis in truth? Not a scintilla. The point is, it takes a lot of rehabilitation to square things back up following false charges. If one does not defend himself the charges tend to stick so, the vigourous defense demanded in these cases takes up the lion's share of the time a candidate has, thereby reducing the time in which the dems miserable record of failures may then be scritinized. What kills me is the way the republicans are usually made to look bad while the real losers (the dems) laugh all the way to the polls. Harry Reid has made a political career calling the republicans the party of no. Is that true? No, it's Reid that won't bring legislation up on the Senate floor, which comes up out of the House for ratification.

But, one thing I would like to know, how many times will playing the race card work?

He was on the pitcher mound.

Obama was on the pitcher`s mound but he threw the ball like a little girl throwing her first overhand pitch. He would have been cut from my intramural softball team, even if he had posed as a girl. Confusednicker:

"Racism: a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others"

I googled racism, just to see what the general definition was...this is what I got.

I dunno....
Don't want to call out a particuliar individual, but if the shoe fits....

Did anybody see Romney kissing the Jewish wall thing in Israel? He was wearing the Jewish beanie at the time.

That can't be me you are referring too. I don't think I'm better than anybody, and don't try to force others to my political view.

Wearing a covering on your head is a sign of respect for the custom putting a prayer on the Western Wall
something like this?

Sorry, he wasn't kissing it, just touching it and closing his eyes, while wearing the beanie.

Like England and the United States, are two peoples seperated by a common language. Christians and Jews are seperated by a common religion. You are exactly right, the Jew rejected the true Messiah, and as a result have paid an inconcievably harsh price for their error. From the utter dismantling of Israel by the legions of Rome, to the Nazi Germany inflicted holocaust of WWII, the Jew has died literally a million deaths.

Matthew 27:11-26 (KJV)
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
15 Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

Now I ask you, did the Jew get what he asked for in this case or not? I can't think of a more clear example of a people suffering for one decision they made with respect to the Lord. I want to say this respectfully, the scriptures never contradict true science. Scientists and profs argue to the contrary, but the two never contradict each other.

Likewise I have zero problem claiming the nation of Israel as our closest ally. Matter of fact, I would have a problem if we didn't shoulder up with Israel. At least America has had that part of foreign policy right for the most part up until the last 3 1/2 years. Did you notice how buddy, buddy Leon Panetta got with Netanyahu? I thought he was going to plant one on him for a minute. So precictable. Of course all this long lost buddy routine all of a sudden, has nothing to do with Romney's visit in which he committed to our ally without reservation should he be elected. http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/midd...story.html

This article in the Post, is trying to say there has been no Obama policy attitude adjustment, as a result of Romney's stiking committment to Israel. I guess Obama's demand that Israel fall back to the lines they held in 1967, was taken out of context too. Confusednicker: Netanyahu is not about to bite on that one. Obama has already revealed his contempt for Israel's foreign policy endeavours very plainly. No matter how much he crawfishes on our relationship with Israel and other key issues, folks with half a brain, know this guy, and what he would like to do. Like I said, he'll say or do anything to stay in power. There is one thing he can't do though, and that's get my vote.
